DISC SUPPORT

Have a problem with your disc? We offer these solutions:
Girl Blood Sport has been engineered to the highest quality standards in delivering an unique, engaged customer experience to our customers world-wide. However, there may be times when you may encounter some hiccups along the way. This page hopes to help you remedy your situation.

OFFICIAL COPIES SOLD ON OR AFTER APRIL 20, 2020
Please note, all officially released discs, that is, all the discs released on or after April 20, 2020 to the general public, are eligible for support. If you have an issue with a preliminary release of your disc prior to this date, we cannot provide support, but we can offer you a $5 credit towards the purchase of an official Girl Blood Sport Blu-ray by clicking here. Thank you for being a fan of Girl Blood Sport and remember, no matter what you do, fight like a girl!

KNOWN COMPATIBILITY ISSUES WITH SOME DEVICES
Before you return your product to any merchant, please note that your Blu-ray player or device must have the latest firmware updates and must be able to support recordable/rewritable media. There are known compatibility issues with playback in gaming devices and merchants are not obligated to exchange a product due to this known issue. Furthermore, Girl Blood Sport was produced for TVs with 1080p HD 16:9 aspect ratios and will have different behaviors both in playback and appearance on any devices capable of 4K or higher, or devices that display 4:3 and less than 720p HD. Some of our footage was shot prior to 1080p and may also look different on some 4K TVs. Our discs are region-free unless otherwise specified.

OPTIMIZE YOUR 4K TV FOR THE HIGHEST QUALITY
Many 4K TVs today are shipped with too many "enhancements" that can degrade picture quality - whether the film is in 4K or a 480p DVD. We recommend you adjust your TV's settings, especially on HD/4K TVs, as appropriate, to gain the maximum picture quality:
1) Set your Sharpness/Edge levels to 0.
2) Disable all Noise Reduction settings.
3) Disable HDMI Deep Color on your 4k Player.
4) Disable all Motion Smoothing settings.
4) Disable any and all so-called "enhancements."

Girl Blood Sport is best enjoyed in a quiet room with the lights turned off, without any interruptions (including pauses, free-frames, or fast-forward or rewinding or frame searching or other frame advances), and the audio at a medium level, about 30. Dolby Surround 5.1 is best to experience the maximum audio effects the film can produce. For times you want the volume reduced we recommend purchasing any copy with a Dolby 2.0 Stereo track for easy late-night listening.

MENUS DON'T WORK? DON'T BE SO QUICK TO JUDGE - YOU JUST FOUND A BROKEN OR EASTER EGG!
Also, if you have purchased an official copy of the Blu-ray after April 20, 2020, please be aware that we have hidden extra content deep within the menus of many of our editions of Girl Blood Sport. At times these may appear to be a defective disc but isn't. Such strange behaviors you may encounter throughout the menu systems include missing buttons, when in actuality the menu has selected a button invisible to you containing an easter egg you should click on or press Enter on your remote to view the content. However, a few of our discs may contain what we call "rotten eggs," where you can move away from the menu's main buttons and even after clicking or pressing Enter nothing happens. We utilized this technique to make finding easter eggs challenging and unfortunately it may give the appearance of a broken menu when in fact our menus on our disc work fine.

With that said, if you ever find yourself stuck at a menu and unable to continue, you should use your Up, Down, Left, or Right arrows on your remote until the menu buttons are highlighted. On many of our discs, our menu buttons are represented by Ravens and they may appear any color on any menu on any edition. All of these behaviors are normal and therefore a disc cannot be returned due to our easter or rotten eggs.

Note: Rotten Eggs may also be referred to as Broken Eggs, Busted Eggs, Bad Eggs, or Cracked Eggs throughout Girl Blood Sport media and merchandise.

PROBLEMS WITH AUDIO / SUBTITLE SYNC ISSUES?
Girl Blood Sport International Versions have been engineered to support various audio and text-based written language features through the use of subtitles to deliver a world-wide experience. However, some players may find it difficult to play these items and doing so may cause delays.

Like any other commercially available film, even those produced by the big-budget studios in Hollywood, audio and subtitle sync problems may occur, especially if you move through the chapters or use the Forward/Reverse/Backward/Rewind/Skip features of your player. In the event this happens, there are several procedures you can try to remedy this. First, pause the film then resume it after waiting 10 seconds. If this does not solve the out-of-sync issues, try stopping the film then waiting 10 seconds to resume it. If neither of these tricks works, you are best to stop the film, eject the disc, reinsert the disc, and start the film from the beginning. If this problem continues to persist, please remove the disc, unplug your player for one minute, then plug it back in, insert the disc, and resume the film from the beginning.

When enabling subtitles throughout any of the disc menus on any disc of the Girl Blood Sport International Version, note that due to the advanced engineering of our customized subtitle programming, the player may trigger a delay to load into memory the custom subtitle font face, to render the text encoding, and to prepare the font color and size. These delays are perfectly normal. During playback, we DO NOT recommend switching between subtitles as this may cause sync and other memory-related issues during your viewing session.

If you must enable, disable, or switch between subtitles during playback, you do so at your own risk. To do this, it depends on your player's remote the options available to you. Normally you would first press the Display or Info buttons to display text on your screen and use the Subtitle button on your remote to toggle between subtitles. Some remotes will require you to keep pressing this button or may require you do use other button combinations, such as your Up/Down buttons and then pressing Enter or OK (again this varies per remote).

We recommend you use the disc menu to enable subtitles. Note that by default, subtitles are disabled. At the Girl Blood Sport International Version main menu, move to the Setup button. Press OK or Enter to enter the Setup options. From here you will have a list of languages as well as a Next page to discover more languages available to you. Once you move to your appropriate language, that language should be highlighted as the color, Blood Red. Press Enter or OK. During this time it is loading the subtitle track into your player's temporary memory bank. Don't worry, this is NOT permanent and can simply be cleared by unplugging then replugging in your player's power plug. The language will remain highlighted. Once it has been enabled, then the word Play should be highlighted as the color, Blood Red. That means the subtitle is ready to load during the movie playback. Simply press OK or Enter on your remote to begin watching the movie with your selected language playing at the bottom. If the word Play does not highlight as the color, Blood Red, first determine if you can move back to the main menu by using the Previous command. If you appear to be stuck on this menu, try stopping then resuming. Otherwise try repeating all of the steps mentioned above for audio/subtitle sync problems.

The below issue pertains only to the Region B/C variant of
Girl Blood Sport International Version. To determine if you have this variant, look at the bottom right corner on the back of your Blu-ray artwork. If you see two diamonds, each with a B and a C, then you own the variant pertaining to this issue. Otherwise you may disregard.

INTERNATIONAL VERSION: WHICH DISC IS WHICH?

When engineering the multi-disc set of the Region B/C variant of Girl Blood Sport International Version, we found ourselves conflicted with how to properly number each disc in respect to the diverse of multi-cultures this special edition represents. To prohibit offending any culture, we opted against labeling each disc and therefore, although each disc containing the film Girl Blood Sport is decorated with textless full-color disc artwork of four mystery girls, the contents for each disc is different. We then implore you to insert each disc into your player and find the disc with your preferred written language and then put that disc into the disc holder of your Blu-ray case, putting the other discs into the inside of the front of the case. We apologize for the minor inconvenience this may cause.

DEFECTIVE DISC? EXCHANGE ONLY!
Most of our merchants will exchange any defective disc. If you, however, have received a defective disc, please contact the merchant from whom you bought it for further assistance with their exchange program. If the item was purchased directly from us, please note that we will not initiate the exchange process until we receive and test the item. Discs provided by us will only be exchanged for the same item and absolutely no refunds will be given. In the event a disc has been tested fine you are responsible for return shipping.
